In one of my counseling centers that I attended, the director of that center led groups as well, and had a history also of traumatic events. He had no specific schooling or degrees other than the fact that he cared about the people within his center and in his counseling classes and wanted to help those who attended the center to learn to overcome their problems. He said, (and I well remember it) "experience makes each of us professionals." How true I now know that is. For example, how can a new mechanic who knows what tools are called and look like but never used them, understand the purpose of each tool, until he uses them? He was able to direct his center, which was called “REACH OUT WEST END” and was located in Pomona. California. I tried to find him or his center, but I was twenty-one when I attended 55 years ago. I wasn’t able to find his center or him. I presumed he had passed away.

   So it is that I submit my words and writings to YOU for your reading, your learning, and your healing, if YOU so choose. YOU will find though, as YOU read and continue reading, in most instances that your mind will automatically begin to understand, learn from what is read and HEAL. I've healed more even as I have written these books. I have used my many years of experience with my disorders and dysfunctions to learn the truth about my worth and value.

   For sure, I don't know a lot of big or fancy words, so I have not used any. It therefore will be easier for YOU to understand the Keys to Balanced Living, found within. I am not, nor will I ever, be ashamed or embarrassed of my abuses, nor should YOU be, if YOU have any. They have made me the stronger, more resilient person I am today. Your own negatives of your past life will turn into positives as YOU learn to make them your warriors in fighting your own battles every day of your life. We all will have mental, emotional, and perhaps physical scars from abuses and mistreatment we've had in our past. Those scars will testify what has happened to us, but scars cannot dictate where we should go or what we should do.

   God speed YOU on your own path of healing. YOU can fix, accept or change anything that YOU consider wrong in your life. I know it. And abusers will get justice. May YOU find my writings peaceful, as words from heaven, because that is exactly where they came to me from.
